Building Network
Operators (BNO).
Private distribution networks for apartment blocks, multi-occupancy buildings and mixed-use developments — designed, installed and certified as one package.
What we do
Infrastructure behind the meter.
Where a development has a single incoming supply feeding multiple occupiers, the network beyond that point is the building owner's responsibility. We design, install and maintain it.
- Private distribution network design
- Landlord supplies and riser installation
- Metering and sub-metering infrastructure
- Sub-main cabling and distribution
- Communal area lighting and small power
- Periodic inspection of communal networks
- Maintenance and fault response
- Certification and network documentation
Developments
One accountable contractor for the whole network.
Coordinating a DNO connection, a landlord supply, metering and dozens of individual apartment supplies is where these projects usually go wrong. Keeping design, installation and testing with a single contractor removes most of that risk.
We work with developers, managing agents and freeholders from initial design through to handover documentation, and can take on maintenance of the network once the building is occupied.
EV charge point infrastructure is increasingly part of these schemes, and we can design the network with future charging load in mind rather than retrofitting it later.
