Electrical
Churches & historic buildings.
Preservation-conscious electrical work for churches, listed buildings and historic structures — discreet installation, sympathetic lighting and quinquennial inspection.
What we do
Modern electrics, minimal intervention.
Historic fabric cannot simply be chased and drilled. Routes, fixings and fittings are chosen to protect the building while meeting current standards.
- Quinquennial electrical inspection
- Sympathetic rewiring and cable routing
- Interior and architectural lighting schemes
- Chandelier and pendant installation and servicing
- Heating and organ supply circuits
- Emergency lighting and alarm systems
- External and floodlighting
- Reporting for faculty and insurance purposes
Working with heritage
Experience with sensitive buildings.
We are used to working alongside architects, PCCs, conservation officers and building committees, and to producing the reports and quotations those processes require.
Inspection and testing follows IET 18th Edition in compliance with BS 7671, with observations classified clearly so that limited budgets can be directed at what genuinely matters first.
