Design
Roof, orientation and shading matter more than panel count.
Most UK roofs can accommodate solar, but orientation, pitch, shading and roof condition all influence real-world output. That is why we survey before we design, and why we will tell you if a roof is not suitable.
Panels are laid out to maximise usable generation rather than simply filling the roof, and inverters are specified so that battery storage can be added now or later without replacing equipment.
Under the Smart Export Guarantee, licensed suppliers pay for surplus electricity you export. Rates vary between suppliers, so we recommend comparing tariffs once your system is registered.
